Homecoming at CLA kicked off with a presentation by internationally renowned humanitarian John Prendergast, who delivered a keynote address titled “From War to Peace: Africa’s Good News Stories.” Prendergast was this year’s Leonard Mellman Visiting Scholar as well as a 2011 Temple University Alumni Fellow. Festivities continued at “Tailgate Row,” the year’s biggest Temple tailgate at the Linc. The party featured food and games for Owls of all ages. After picking up their Temple scarves, CLA alumni cheered the team on to victory over the Buffalo Bulls.
