CLA Academic Advising Center

Welcome

CLA Academic Advising Office Members

Welcome! The College of Liberal Arts Academic Advising Center (CLAAAC) promotes student-centered responsibility while guiding liberal arts majors toward achieving their academic goals by developing a compatible and meaningful educational plan. The CLAAAC helps students plan curriculum, choose majors, explore career opportunities and post graduate plans. The CLAAAC is located at 1810 Liacouras Walk, Suite 301.

Using the Advising Center

All of our professional advisors are available to answer questions regarding Core/General Education, College, and Major requirements. Advisors are typically available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you are a continuing student and would like to meet with an advisor, check the weekly appointment schedule below.

To schedule your appointment with an advisor at the Main campus,  call 215-204-7971, this is the best way to schedule your appointment. We also offer advising at the Ambler and TUCC campuses. Please call 267-468-8200 to schedule an appointment at Ambler. If you wish to be advised at TUCC please contact Paula Robison.

At the Main campus same day appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis. It is best to stop by early on the morning of the day you would like to see an advisor, as the schedule can fill up quickly. Students who are unable to make a same day appointment are permitted to schedule a future appointment. These future appointments can be made up to 5 business days in advance. All appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes.

At the beginning of the term, during priority registration and new student orientations, many students utilize our services, so it is best to plan ahead!
