Class 16-08 of the Temple University Seasonal Law Enforcement Training Program were joined by family, friends and guests for a graduation ceremony held at the Temple University Ambler Campus on December 20, 2016. The event included a keynote address from Chief Ranger Norman Nelson, Jr. of the National Park Service, a presentation of certificates of completion by Temple University staff, and an awards ceremony for distinguished achievement in academics, marksmanship, driving, leadership and physical fitness. The Temple University Seasonal Law Enforcement Training Program, a partnership between University College and Criminal Justice Training Programs (CLA), is a full-time, federally-accredited program consisting of more than 700 hours of professional instruction designed to prepare and enable students to obtain employment with the National Park Service as a seasonal law enforcement ranger.
