Prof. Paes-Machado lectures on International Drug Trade and Governance Disputes


Prof. Eduardo Paes-Machado, our visiting scholar from Brazil, will be delivering a presentation on October 31st at 10:00am, Gladfelter Hall, Room 553. Criminal Justice Society Bake Sale


The Criminal Justice Society will be holding a Halloween Bake Sale this Friday October 31, 2014 in the lobby of Gladfelter Hall.  Delicious goodies will be on sale between 11:00am - 2:00 pm.  Please remind your students to come out and support their society. Proceeds from the bake sale will be used to to support the Criminal Justice Society's goal of providing academic and social support to our undergrads.


Criminal Justice Society Meet and Greet


The Criminal Justice Society's Fall 2014 Meet and Greet is this Wednesday October 15, 2014.  It will be held between 12:00-2:00 pm right outside the main office of our Department (5th floor). This was an excellent opportunity to engage with students outside of the classroom and promote future collaboration with our undergrads.

Temple University Substance Abuse Research Consortium (SARC) and the Office of the Senior Vice Provost for Research
sponsored the "Substance Abuse in the 21st Century: Showcasing Temple University Research" Symposium on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM. We had excellent CJ representation: our undergrads Slater and Koehnlein, grad students Donohue, Link, and Hamilton, and faculty - Dr. Hiller - all presented posters.
