Two researchers from Greece, Theophilos Papadimitriou and Periklis Gogas, will present to us a seminar consisting of a talk entitled “T-MDS: a new methodology for monitoring Economics networks” and a talk entitled “Economic and financial forecasting using Machine Learning methodologies” on Wednesday, November 18, from 2 pm to 4 pm in Ritter Hall 309. I became aware of the availability of these presenters well into the semester and their talk could not be fitted into the regular Friday time research seminar slot. You will find summaries of the talks and brief bios of the presenters in the PDF document to be found here: Papadimitriou-Gogas talk info.
In addition to the talk, Theophilos and Periklis will be available to meet with individual faculty and groups of interested graduate students. Please let Dr. Diamantaras know if you would like to meet with them.
