Rick Bernstein is a native Philadelphian who received his Ph.D. from Brown University in 1973. In the past he has published in the areas of trade, urban and development economics. He has worked extensively with the Pennsylvania Legislature on issues of taxation. His current interests are in macroeconomics and financial markets and has frequently taught courses for the finance department. He was one of founders of Executive MBA program and taught courses in the program for 18 years.
