Office of Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs (OVPR)

The OVPR provides information about about faculty recruitment, hiring, retention, promotion, and tenure, as well as professional development opportunities. Please note that the deadlines on the OVPR website are deadlines for the delivery of material to the Vice Provost for Faculty. CLA often sets earlier deadlines to allow for collegial evaluation processes that must occur before the deadlines on the OVPR website. Each semester, a calendar of CLA deadlines will be posted on the CLA website and sent to all chairs.

Office of Research

The Office of Research in the College of Liberal Arts exists to promote and support high quality research and scholarship by faculty members and students. The Office serves to nurture a climate conducive to research by disseminating internal and external funding opportunities, assisting in proposal construction and submission, post-award administration, and training faculty and students in the implementation and administration of their grants. We highly encourage creative, entrepreneurial, and interdisciplinary efforts by faculty and students in the College of Liberal Arts.
