Jeronimo Rodriguez M.Sc Holds a B.Sc in Economics from the Univerisdad Nacional de Colombia in Bogota and a M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics from the Humboldt University in Berlin (Germany). Research interests and experience include social ecological systems analysis and natural resource economics with emphasis in land and water management. In his research he applies property rights and institutional economics analysis together with agricultural commodities market analysis to territorial occupation and transformation patterns and its applicability towards the development of territorial biodiversity management strategies. He has experience with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including biodiversity valuation and the application of spatial analysis and geographic information systems.
