Martin Orzeck earned a Ph.D. in English from Arizona State University specializing in nineteenth and twentieth-century American and British literature. His research and teaching interests include modern poetry, rhetorical and historicist approaches to literary analysis, and the impact of economic and social inequality on urban education. University of Michigan Press published his Dickinson and Audience (co-edited with Robert Weisbuch) in 1996.
