Christine Palus, Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Public Administration, Villanova University. “Partisan Alignment and the Delegation of Policy Discretion to Bureaucratic Agencies”

Christine Kelleher Palus, Ph.D. is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Public Administration within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Villanova University in Villanova, PA. Educationally, Dr. Palus earned both her Ph.D. and M.A from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her B.A. from Fairfield University. Her undergraduate teaching areas are city and suburb relations and her graduate teaching areas are state and local politics, urban politics, public administration and management, and women in politics. Her most recent publication was a collaborative piece entitled “Oversight as Constraint or Catalyst? Explaining Agency Influence on State Policy Decision-Making” published in The American Review of Public Administration.
