With the complex challenge of preparing students to advance successfully their post-graduate career goals, the Department of Political Science is excited to announce the establishment of the Political Science Advisory Board (PSAB). The board is the first of its kind within the College of Liberal Arts.
Led by Founding Chair James E. Heasley II, Ph.D. (CLA, ’98), PSAB will work to identify resources to benefit our students. The group will set goals to develop internships and other career opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students; counsel the department on how best to guide students towards success in the job market; and raise external funding.
Mark your calendars for PSAB’s first event: a champagne reception, to be held on Saturday, April 26th at 10:30 a.m. This will be a great opportunity to meet the board and connect with fellow alumni, faculty and friends. Be on the lookout for your email invitation.
