Nora Newcombe has been selected to receive the 2016 Temple University Research Award. This prestigious award is awarded each year in recognition of outstanding faculty research contributions. The award comes with a $5,000 stipend and a framed certificate.
Tom Olino has received the Notice of Grant Award for his NIMH R01 grant, entitled “Developmental changes in reward responsivity: Associations with depression risk markers”. Co-investigators on the award are Jason Chein, Larry Steinberg, and Lauren Alloy.

Undergraduate student researcher Madeleine Salvatore, who is in the Psychology Honors Program, has received a Diamond Research Scholar to work on a project in Dr. Bangasser’s Neuroendocrinology and Behavior Laboratory over the summer.
Debra Bangasser is joining the Editorial Board of Scientific Reports, an open access journal from the publishers of Nature. The journal currently has an impact factor of 5.58.
