Taylor Burke (Lauren Alloy’s student) has been awarded a full tuition scholarship to attend the Beck Institute’s Annual Student and Mental Health Trainee Workshop: CBT for Depression.
Staci Weiss (Peter Marshall’s student), and Martha Fahlgren (Mike McCloskey’s student) have been awarded NSF Graduate Research Fellowships. This prestigious Fellowship provides 3 years of support over a 5 year period. Madison Titone (Lauren Alloy’s student), Shannon Murphy (Ellman’s Student) and Arielle Ered (Ellman’s student) all received honorable mentions.

Issar Daryanani, Lauren Alloy’s student, won a US Army Health Professional Scholarship, one of less than 5 given out in the country, and was commissioned as a lieutenant in the US Army. The US Army Health Professional Scholarship is similar to an NIH F31 award.
Carrie Potter, Rick Heimberg’s graduate student, and Matt Goodman, Rick Heimberg’s undergraduate research assistant, received one of eight honorable mentions from APS for the Student Research Award.
Alexandra Ellis and Kelsey Lucerne, undergraduate students working with Lisa Briand, have received Creative Arts, Research and Scholarship Project Grants to work in on research projects during the summer.
Sabina Khantsis received the 2016 Psychology Prize. Awarded by the Temple University Chapter of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology, this prize is given to a member of the graduating class concentrating in psychology who has combined the highest scholastic average in that field with general excellence in other studies.
Jasmine Forde received the 2016 Psychology Department Service Recognition Award. This prize is awarded by Psychology Department faculty to the member of the graduating class who best combines academic excellence with service to the Psychology Department.
