Isabelle Chang Ph.D. 8511Assistant Professor – Instructional

Biography

A lifelong love of learning and numbers combined with much hard work eventually rewarded me a Ph.D. in psychology and a proficiency in statistics.  Along the way I also discovered a love of sharing what I have learned via a fulfilling career in teaching.  I am passionate about teaching life span human development and psychometrics, and like to study how children learn.  The greatest satisfaction in my teaching career comes from hearing my former students expressing gratitude for how I have helped them and sharing with me their academic and career successes.  My belief is that life should be a constant journey of learning and discovery.  I am always looking for new opportunities to learn and expand my capabilities whether it be how to grow my own food or finally learning how to ride a bike (accomplished last year!!).
