Biography

Beata Swoboda received her M.A. in German and Education at Silesian University, Poland. In addition to working as a translator and interpreter in the E.U. market, Professor Swoboda has taught all levels of German for 20 years. Raised in Poland in a German family, she was bilingual from day one. She studied in Germany, and has worked for both German and Polish companies throughout her career. Professor Swoboda also teaches Polish, and works as a private tutor. She is an official examiner for the European Language Proficiency Exams levels B1,B2 and C1. Professor Swoboda has been teaching at Temple since 2012.
