Nicole Hall is a Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Geography and Urban Studies. Nicole completed a BFA at the Tyler School of Art and a MS Sustainable Design from Philadelphia University before coming to Temple for her MA Geography and Urban Studies and continuing into the PhD program. Her research focuses on the relationships between urban universities and their surrounding communities with an emphasis on participatory planning processes, deliberative democracy, economic policy, urban education, undocumented student rights, and political geography. In addition to her academic research, Nicole works professionally in higher education administration, focusing on urban engagement through strategic enrollment planning and institutional policy.
